Today, I will review the Centara Maris Bay Centara Hotel. I noticed that there are not many reviews of this hotel yet. This hotel is a new hotel that opened at the end of 2016, if I remember correctly.

This trip, we got a family room, which is a room for families with small children. But we went with just two people, haha. I have to say that the quality of sleep and the amenities were good considering the price.

Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, I was unable to capture any photos due to the high volume of guests. According to the staff, all rooms were fully booked for the day. As a result, I took a photo of the back of the lobby, where there were several small seating areas where guests could wait for their check-in time if their rooms were not yet ready. The lobby itself was spacious and airy, and the temperature was comfortable.

This is a family room. Upon entering the room, you will see the living room area first. The foam tray in the picture is filled with marinated meat. I had it grilled with my mother and relatives who were staying in Pattaya. The living room chairs are quite comfortable to sit on. I almost fell asleep watching a movie that wasn't very interesting. The TV is a smart TV with a decent selection of channels. There are free-to-air channels, as well as True and Fox movie and sports channels.

On the left-hand side, you will find the children's bathroom, which features bunk beds. It is likely that the children will enjoy this feature.

The master bedroom is located on the right-hand side. Upon entering, you will find the bedroom, which boasts an exceptional bed. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in, the bed here is outstanding. It's incredibly comfortable, so much so that I had to check the brand and model to buy one for my own home!

The room also has a TV and a small workspace.

The master bedroom includes a bathroom with separate wet and dry zones and a bathtub. It also has a bidet spray. However, there is a problem with the toilet area. When using the bidet spray, water drips and pools, and it does not drain properly. I have had a technician come to fix it, but the problem persists. I have become so annoyed that I have given up trying to fix it and now just sit with my feet soaking in the water when I use the toilet.

The view from the balcony shows the vast sea. 555+ It's very far away. If there were no tall buildings blocking the view, the sea would be clearly visible.

The hotel also has a small fitness center with a decent amount of equipment. It is located in the same area as the spa, but photography is prohibited in the spa due to guest privacy concerns.

Kids' Club and Childcare

The resort offers a dedicated Kids' Club, bustling with activity as observed from the entrance. Two staff members were present to supervise the children, allowing parents to enjoy leisure activities or water sports with peace of mind. This service provides a convenient option for families to entrust their children to capable care while they relax and unwind.

The swimming pool has separate areas for children and adults. The adult pool is long enough for swimming laps and getting a good workout. There are four jacuzzi pools in the adult area, but only three were operational during my visit. The status of the fourth pool was unclear, whether it was out of order or simply not turned on.

The adult pool is approximately 1.5 meters deep, if I recall correctly.

The breakfast buffet was crowded, making it difficult to take photos. However, it offered a wide variety of options. The highlights included delicious pastries, crispy donuts, and deep-fried egg tarts. The Thai food was also good and not overly catered to foreign tastes.

Overall, considering the price I paid, this is another hotel in Pattaya that offers excellent value for money.

The bathroom has a problem with stagnant water, which is annoying when using the bathroom.
