This review has been on hold for a long time because I traveled back and forth at the end of 2015. Due to many life commitments, I was also banned from logging in for a while. 555+

I recently woke up and recommended accommodation to my friend as information for Khao Yai. This accommodation was awarded from playing a game, so it is considered free to stay.

Phukao Hom Resort is located on the road from Khao Yai to Wang Nam Khiao. However, the staff advised against taking this route due to poor road conditions. I have borrowed a map from Google.

Phu Kham Hom is a 50-acre resort surrounded by trees, making it an ideal place for relaxation.

This makes me think that this accommodation is suitable for year-round travel. Even in the hot season, it is unlikely to be too hot.

The lobby is quite small, and I forgot to take pictures of everything. There were welcome drinks, which I believe were lemongrass water, and they were delicious and refreshing.

The hotel will recommend all the activities available on the property.

The first activity was archery. I tried it out and got hit by the bowstring, which hurt my hand. But it was fun! 55+

The second recommendation is paddle boating. However, be prepared for a sunburn as the paddle boat pond is located outside the resort and requires a shuttle service.

Another activity that suggests the summer heat may not be too intense is the presence of a sizable swimming pool, complete with a jacuzzi.

The venue also boasts a campfire area perfect for hosting company parties or large gatherings with friends.

Ultimately, there is cycling in the resort, but I don't think it works very well because the resort itself is hilly, making it difficult to cycle if you are not strong. I tried it and got hurt, haha.

I later got a room at Jakuchii Villa, which is the best room in this resort. I must say that the bed and pillows are so comfortable that you can sleep all the time.

The bathroom features distinct wet and dry zones, as well as an outdoor shower area. A bidet is also available.

The room is well-equipped with amenities, including soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, and bathrobe.

One drawback of the room is that the lighting is almost entirely a soft yellow, making it unsuitable for reading. As someone who enjoys reading, I found this to be a significant inconvenience. Additionally, the room is prone to mosquitoes, so it's advisable to keep the door closed. Even sitting on the balcony to enjoy the breeze and the view comes with the risk of mosquito bites.

The highlight of this room is the jacuzzi on the rooftop, which offers stunning mountain views at night.

The breakfast spread was not extensive, but everything was truly delicious, especially the porridge and the pork-topped bread.

The dinner I ordered was surprisingly just okay, not particularly delicious.

Overall, this is a resort worth staying at if your budget allows. However, after checking the prices, I found that they are quite high during peak season, especially for the jacuzzi villas.

If you're interested, I think the rainy season or the hot season would be a better time to visit. Then you can just take your chances with the weather. 555+
