The Unplanned Koh Samui Trip: A Serendipitous Adventure

This passage describes an unexpected trip to Koh Samui, Thailand, won through an online auction. The author, initially unsure of the accommodation, discovers limited information online, including a single review mentioning excessive traffic noise on the second floor. With uncertainty about their room's location, they head to Koh Samui, ready to embrace the adventure.

In summary, the auction was confusing, and the terms and conditions at the time stated that the voucher could not be used during long weekends. I asked the hotel's sales staff to use the voucher, and surprisingly, the hotel allowed it. I was able to use the voucher on Father's Day in 2014. Yes, I did not make a mistake in the year. I went last year and am just now writing a review.

Therefore, if anyone reads this review and decides to stay there and does not find it as described, I apologize in advance. 555+

Upon entering the lobby, the first visual impression is...

The lobby is a comfortable size, neither too big nor too small. The staff are friendly and welcoming, greeting guests with a smile.

The room I stayed in was the Jacuzzi Suite, which is two levels lower than the Jacuzzi Villa and Beach Front Villa. These two options offer more privacy, as the Jacuzzi Suite has a Deluxe room above it on the second floor, which was the source of the noise.

The jacuzzi is directly opposite the entrance door to the room. 555+

This hotel has been open for a long time, so the furniture is not brand new. However, it is not old and worn out either. Overall, it looks good.

The room will have 3 bottles of drinking water. I just found out that there are three free bottles of water, haha. And there are also welcome fruits. I forgot to take a picture, hehe. It's delicious, it's punch.

Behind the bed, you'll notice wooden slats. This area is where the bathtub, shower, and toilet are located.

Staying with friends in this room would be awkward, haha. It's definitely more suitable for couples. One advantage I liked was that it had a bidet, haha.

The hotel breakfast was up to the usual standard. I only took pictures of the food I chose to eat, as there were quite a few guests and I didn't want to be rude by standing there taking photos. There was a noodle station with decent flavors, but the best part was enjoying breakfast with this amazing view.

The swimming pool will be approximately 10*5 meters in size and will be located in the lobby area.

This is an empty paragraph.

In summary, if you can get a room at the price I bid for, this room is a great deal for those who want to relax in comfort in Koh Samui. I can tell you that you probably won't find this price anywhere else. I got it for 2 nights for 2500 baht.

However, the price on the website or at the hotel is quite high. The room I stayed in cost 7,000 baht per night during the high season.

The prices on various agent websites may be cheaper, but I did not compare prices at that time, so I do not know.
