Feeling tired from work and people, wanting to rest your mind and body. Time is limited, and you don't want to spend too much time traveling. You wonder where to go. You decide to go to Amphawa and visit the floating market, as you haven't been there for a long time. You search for accommodation near Amphawa.

After browsing, you come across "Being, Living, Is RESORT & RESTAURANT" and decide to book a room for one night, Saturday to Sunday. You book through LINE ID: charujam.

You plan your trip and decide with your partner to ride a motorcycle. It's not too far, and you want to try something different. You drive along Rama II, following the GPS. You take the outer lane to avoid heavy trucks. You wear helmets for safety and stop at a gas station to rest when needed.

We departed from Bangkok around nine o'clock and arrived at our accommodation around 11:00. The accommodation allowed us to check in immediately, but requested that we check out at the same time we checked in. Our stomachs were starting to rumble, and luckily, the accommodation had a restaurant on-site. I must say, almost everything was delicious and very affordable.

We ordered the crab roe chili paste, which was absolutely delicious. The crab roe was the star of the dish, and the curry was packed with flavor. The shrimp in sour curry with cha-om leaves were also excellent, with the shrimp being perfectly cooked and the curry having a wonderful balance of sweet and sour. Each dish was incredibly generous in portion size, making the price incredibly reasonable.

One of the highlights was the "Bai Chakram" leaf, which we had never tried before. The staff recommended it, saying it tasted similar to "Cha-om." Upon trying it, we were pleasantly surprised. Unlike "Cha-om," it didn't have a strong odor and was incredibly delicious.

The bill was surprisingly low.

After a satisfying meal, let's move on to the accommodation. There are only four rooms available, offering a peaceful and private retreat. The rooms are housed in converted shipping containers and offer exceptional value for money. On weekdays, a room costs a mere 750 baht, while on weekends the price increases to 1150 baht. Each room is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a television, hot water heater, air conditioning, and breakfast.

This is what our room looks like tonight. It's called Room 1 Red, and we really like it.

Looking out the window, you can see the waterfront. In front of the room, there is a seating area where you can relax.

After waking up at 3:00 PM, I prepared to drive to the tourist attractions. It's important to note that the accommodation is not located near the Amphawa Floating Market, but it's not too far away. It takes less than 20 minutes by car to reach the market. The owner of the accommodation kindly provided recommendations on interesting places to visit and directions, including shortcuts to the floating market.

We opted for the conventional route, relying on GPS navigation. Our first stop was Wat Bang Kung, a temple renowned for its banyan tree-covered chapel. Regrettably, we failed to capture any photographs of Wat Bang Kung. Following our visit to the temple, we crossed to the opposite side, where we encountered a diverse array of animals, including camels, deer, goats, wild boars, peacocks, crocodiles, and fish. The opportunity to feed these creatures was a delightful experience.

Leaving Bang Kung Temple, we headed straight to Amphawa Floating Market. The two locations are not far apart, and we arrived at the market just as the sun was setting.

Upon arrival, we immediately started exploring the area for food to satisfy our hunger. The riverside was mainly lined with seafood vendors, catering to the large number of Chinese tourists. The abundance of food options left us spoilt for choice.

Let's start with coconut water first.

Followed by dim sum, and then a variety of other dishes.

After walking around the market until my legs were tired, I only bought snacks. 555 Because I was impressed by the food at the resort, I agreed with my boyfriend to go back and have dinner at the accommodation. We hurried back because the kitchen closed at 8:00 PM.

There was another clear tom yum soup with shrimp, but I didn't take a picture of it. The total cost of this meal was 566 baht, which is very cheap.

After dinner, we waited for a while before heading out to see the fireflies. The owner of the accommodation led us on a close-up tour of the fireflies in the garden of the property. It was an amazing experience, and there were so many fireflies!

The tranquility of the accommodation at night was perfect for relaxation. The only sound we could hear was the gentle hum of boats passing by. We slept soundly that night, and even though it was just one night, we felt completely refreshed.

We woke up early to have breakfast. This morning's menu is shrimp porridge. This morning, we will take you on a tour around the accommodation.

The accommodation is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a refreshing and tranquil atmosphere.

The accommodation also provides a play area and books for us to read.

The most appealing feature is the presence of a balcony extending over the water, offering a relaxing spot to lie down or capture stunning photographs.

An occasional fishing boat.

This single angle has already yielded hundreds of photos. 5555

With the battery fully charged to 100%, it was time to return to Bangkok.

Before returning to Bangkok, don't forget to stop by Tha Kha Floating Market. It's an authentic old-style floating market where most vendors are elderly women who paddle their boats to sell their goods. They are incredibly energetic and friendly. However, it's recommended to arrive early as the market starts to wind down around 10:30 am. Although there might still be some items available for purchase.

This concludes my review. I apologize for any errors. This is the first place where I truly felt like I could relax and rejuvenate my mind and body. It is close to Bangkok, budget-friendly, and time-saving. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely return here.
