When it comes to "cowboys," one might think of Hollywood movies that often feature scenes of horseback chases or gunfights in the middle of town, with American Western-style shops and restaurants as the backdrop. Alternatively, one might think of the repetitive and unoriginal cowboy dress-up theme at company New Year's parties. This time, we will take you on a journey to change the atmosphere. Let's go relax and do cowboy-style activities that are more than just dressing up at "The Verona at Tublan."

DAY 1

Our journey began at Don Mueang Airport, where we rented a car from AVIS Rent A Car. We had booked the car in advance through the Call Center. The car pick-up counter is located in front of the passenger exit gate on the first floor of the domestic terminal (Terminal 2).

The chosen vehicle for this trip was a Toyota Altis with a 1.6-liter engine to enhance agility when driving uphill and downhill. Once the car was ready, the journey began, taking the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok route and cutting through Prachin Buri to Thap Lan.

After a three-and-a-half-hour journey (including rest stops), we arrived at our accommodation for this trip, "The Verona at Thap Lan," located near Thap Lan National Park in Na Di District, Prachin Buri Province.

The newly opened accommodation zone, "Verona Texas Cowboy Town," offers American Western-style rooms amidst nature, capturing the atmosphere of a cowboy town.

Offering activities that allow us to experience the cowboy way of life.

There are three types of rooms available: Tipi House, Barn House, and Western Room.

Our room is decorated in a Western style with wooden furniture in shades of light to dark brown. The walls are bare concrete in an orange hue and plywood with a wood grain pattern.

The high ceiling features a large, central bamboo lamp.

The bed is a king-size with four soft pillows.

Fully equipped with amenities such as TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, and electric kettle.

The room features a staircase leading to a mezzanine level, which provides space for an extra bed.

The bathroom is an open space without a separate wet and dry area. It has a water heater and toiletries, such as soap and shampoo, are provided.

After resting until they were no longer tired and waiting for the sun to set and the wind to die down, they went out to take photos around their accommodation. But first, they transformed themselves into cowboys and cowgirls to match the atmosphere.

The front of the accommodation features a costume room filled with a wide variety of clothes, pants, and props, allowing guests to freely choose and match their outfits.

With the outfits ready, we headed to the first photo spot: the horse stables. The first stable housed around four or five horses.

These are some of the contestants in this year's beauty pageant.

Visitors can get up close and personal with the contestants, greeting them and offering them food.

The barn house, nestled between the two horse stables, offers spacious accommodations ideal for large families or groups seeking a festive gathering.

The second horse stable has a sign with the name of each horse.

Take a picture with a real cowboy who takes care of the horses.

The scene recreates the atmosphere of a Western-style American store, providing an opportunity to capture photos.

Adjacent to the accommodation zone lies a vast, verdant lawn, with a backdrop of rolling hills.

For group stays, the hotel can arrange a dinner party with a cowboy show.

The recommended dish is a whole roasted pig, with crispy skin and tender meat.

And fire baton twirling

DAY 2

The day began with cool, refreshing air after heavy rain in the middle of the night, accompanied by breakfast at the Blackwood restaurant.

A wide variety of Thai and international cuisine is available.

The most memorable menu item was grilled pork with sticky rice.

The second day was dedicated to activities.

Today, I'm trying out a new look: a Native American woman.

Hats and shoes are provided by the hotel, but guests must bring their own shirts.

Begin with a horseback riding activity.

Officers are on hand to provide close supervision and guidance.

Following the life of a shy miniature horse

And feed the hungry goats.

Followed by adventure activities

The first stage is the Swing Rope, where participants gradually pull themselves up to a height of approximately 6-7 meters, nearly reaching the top of the pole.

The next stage is a 12-meter rock climbing wall.

Followed by 2 rounds of Flying Fox, each round 150 meters long, totaling 300 meters.

A giant roller ball rolled 60 meters from a height of 6 meters.

Exhilarating and dizzying at the same time.

To conclude, enjoy a relaxing ATV ride around the accommodation, taking in the surrounding scenery.

However, if you enjoy a challenge, there are off-road courses where you can get muddy and have a blast.

Guaranteed fun

In addition, there are kayaking and paddle boating activities, which are perfect for enjoying the scenery in the morning and evening.

Before leaving, let's take a look at the atmosphere of the Tipi House.

The rooms are located by the water with a lawn in front, separated into individual units with appropriate spacing for privacy.

The structure is a teepee-shaped tipi made of concrete and decorated with patterns.

The interior walls are painted in an orange hue, complemented by wooden furniture.

A large bed is located in the center.

Fully equipped with amenities.

The bathroom features a dry and wet zone separation with blinds.

And there is a water heater.

After checking out, we drove towards Wang Nam Khieo to have lunch at the Village Farm & Winery.

A French-style vineyard and winery nestled amidst the mountains, surrounded by nature.

The resort offers a variety of amenities, including dining options, comfortable accommodations, and a renowned gift shop selling local wines and grape juices.

Must-try dishes include the herbal omelet with soft tofu and the farmer's chili paste with organic vegetables.

Next, drive about 10 kilometers to the "Wang Nam Khieo Coffee Roasting House", located on the same road as the Pha Geb Ta Wan viewpoint in Thap Lan National Park.

Drinks and cakes are available for purchase.

The restaurant is located by the Huai Krabong stream, with seating by the water. The atmosphere is very good.

Strong coffee and cocoa

A bamboo bridge extends out into the middle of the water, with small tables and chairs allowing visitors to experience the water's surface up close.

There are many beautiful photo spots with a homey atmosphere to choose from.

Not far from the Wang Nam Khiao coffee roasting factory, there is a charming Japanese-style melon farm called "Rak Jang Farm" (Sweet Melon Farm).

A melon farm that allows tourists to visit the melon fields up close.

The front of the farm features a small Japanese-style garden for taking photos.

A giant melon sits in the middle of the garden.

Torii, or Japanese-style gates, are also present.

Before leaving, you can also choose to buy products from Melon as souvenirs.

The return trip took the Yotha Thikan Road 3060 towards Pak Chong District, then cut onto Mittraphap Road, and safely returned to Bangkok.
