When the rainy season arrives, most people would prefer to stay indoors to avoid getting soaked like a drowned puppy. However, for us, that's not the case. We're all about exploring and having adventures, rain or shine. So, during the rainy season, waterfalls and other adventure activities are a must-visit. We recently conquered a renowned waterfall and experienced the thrill of ziplining. It was an exhilarating experience, and we highly recommend it. If you're up for a challenge, give it a try!
“Bolaven” is located in Dong Hua Sao National Park, Nong Luang Village, Laos. Getting there is not difficult at all. Just hire a van to Chong Mek, then cross the border to Laos and take a local villager's car to the village, which takes about 2-3 hours. However, if the car gets stuck in the mud, it will take longer. Haha.
The hiking trail is not too long, approximately 12 kilometers (according to the porters). The trail offers a variety of terrains, including flat paths, steep slopes, water crossings, and rope climbs. The main steep sections are the paths leading to Tad Seua and Tad Khmud. This trail is highly recommended for adventurous hikers who enjoy a diverse and challenging experience.
