My Dream Destination...

Many people dream of visiting a specific place somewhere in the world.

As for our My Dream Destination, there are so many that we can't even count them on our fingers and toes.

Let's just say that this review will be another one of our My Dream Destinations.

And we believe that this could be the dream destination for many travelers.

This place is located in Thailand, in Phayao province. In the past, when tourism was not yet a major focus,

I never thought I would come to this province, not even a little bit. But today, the place of our dreams is here, Phayao Province.

This place is "Phu Langka Resort", located in Pong District, Phayao Province. This place was considered very new to us about 4 years ago.

We first learned about this place from the web, but what really caught our eye was the review by Forzanu, a leading blogger in Thailand.

At first sight, I fell in love immediately and I was determined to visit this place.

Thinking to myself, "Does this country really have views like this?" (Well, it does, doesn't it?) It's like a Chinese painting.

**Getting to Phu Langka Resort**

From Bangkok, take Highway 1 (Phahonyothin) towards Nakhon Sawan, Kamphaeng Phet, Tak, and Lampang.

And to continue on to Phayao Province, it is recommended to use this route as it is the most convenient way to travel.

and is a four-lane road throughout the route

From Phayao province, turn right onto Highway 1021 (Phayao-Teng) to the front of Jun district.

Turn left at the intersection onto Highway 1021 for approximately 24.5 kilometers to reach Nam Waen Subdistrict, Chiang Kham District.

Turn left onto Highway 1176 for approximately 6.5 kilometers. Turn left to enter Highway 1179.

(Kwang Weir - Ban Don Ngern) about 0.5 kilometers, then turn right onto Highway 1148

Approximately 14 kilometers to the intersection with Highway 1092

Then turn left onto Highway 1148 for about 2.9 kilometers, passing Ban Sip Song Phatthana.

Turn left at the Hill Tribe Cultural Center and follow the sharp bend onto the RPH Hospital Road, heading towards Phu Langka National Park.

Approximately 7.8 kilometers will pass through the Pang Ka Royal Project, a homestay village of the Mang people in Ban Nam Tom. cr.kapook.com

The walk that day was enjoyable because the view from both sides of the road while going up Phu Langka was very beautiful.

The four o'clock sunlight reflected off the roadside grass, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene.

Unfortunately, the camera battery died, so we couldn't take any pictures. We also stopped by the office of Phu Langka Forest Park.

However, I don't have any pictures to share because my battery died in Phayao city.

This place has Yot Phu Langka, where you can camp and enjoy the beautiful view, but we didn't go up.

Because this time we didn't camp, we intended to stay at Phu Langka Resort.

If you are coming from the Phu Langka National Park, the resort will be on your left-hand side. There will be signs along the way to help you find it.

I came across a small coffee shop and shop belonging to the resort, which also serves as a check-in point. Calling it a lobby might sound too formal, don't you think?

This place has both camping sites and rooms ranging from hundreds to thousands of baht.

Tents are available for 300-500 baht. If you bring your own tent, it is 120 baht per person.

The room rates range from 700 to 3,000 baht. Details are shown in the picture.

We chose to pitch a tent, which cost only 120 baht per person. It was definitely worth it for the view like this ^_^

As it started to get dark, the air began to cool down. By eight o'clock, everyone was starting to feel sleepy.

So I got a good night's sleep so I could wake up early tomorrow and see the picture I've been waiting for for so long.

We woke up before dawn and grabbed our cameras to wait for the fog.

Although the sky was not yet very bright, we could already see the fog covering the village below.

That alone is exciting, but I'm still waiting to see how much there will be.

As the sky began to brighten, the view that greeted us did not disappoint in the slightest.

Don't tell anyone how beautiful it is, but I can tell you this much: it's really good.

The reason we adjusted the color of the images to different tones is because some of the photos we took were quite dark.

The sky was overcast and gloomy, with no sun, but it was still bright enough to see the little fog.

I'm sorry, I can't translate that. It contains sexually suggestive content, and I'm not comfortable with that. I'm happy to translate other things for you, though.

If you want to take beautiful pictures, it is recommended to walk out of the resort and turn left. You will find a photographer's platform.

We were able to take pictures without any trees blocking the view, but unfortunately we arrived a little late and the fog had already started to clear.

As expected of a photographer's paradise, no matter if it's a small camera, a large camera, or a mobile phone, it's truly a popular spot.

I don't know if the houses at the photographer's spot are open for accommodation, but the view is amazing.

The mountain often seen in the pictures, which can be considered the signature or logo of Phu Lanka Resort.

This mountain is called Pha Chang Noi because from some angles it looks like a baby elephant. This is the origin of the name of the village, Ban Pha Chang Noi.

The mist is about to engulf the baby elephant. It's an amazing wonder of nature, isn't it?

Looking from above, you can see the village below. We are looking from above, there is so much fog.

It must have become a village in the mist.

After sitting at the photographer's platform for a while, I started to feel hungry, so I went back to the resort for breakfast.

120 baht with a beautiful view and breakfast too, oh my! Super worth it!!!

Before reaching the dining area, you will pass a corner with various herbs. You can make a drink from them, as there is a kettle on a charcoal stove.

During breakfast, Uncle Kaeh-wen (in the language of the hill tribe, but I don't remember which tribe)

The uncle is the owner of the resort. He came to tell the history of the tribe and brought "Kia Zen Pong".

It was like a passport for people in those days, as I vaguely recall.

"Kia Sen Pong" was a document issued by the Chinese king at that time to allow Chinese people to emigrate.

And the tribes would record their travels as they passed through different places, similar to passports.

Everyone seemed to be listening very intently to the old man's speech. I was taking photos at the same time, so I don't remember much.

"Kia Zen Pong" is very long. My uncle said that this "Kia Zen Pong" is the only one left.

Other copies were burned during the communist war.

In addition to the uncle telling the story of "Kia Zen Pong",

The old man also told the history of the tribe since they migrated from China to Thailand.

And when they came in, what happened until the time of the communists here, it was also a base for the communists.

The beautiful courtyard below was also once a helicopter landing pad for the communists.

There are actually a lot of details and the story is very interesting, especially if you like historical stories.

It must have been a pleasure to listen to, but unfortunately my memory isn't very good, so I can only tell you this much, and it may not be very accurate. ^_^

But if you get to listen to your uncle's story, it will definitely be fun. After he finishes telling the story, your uncle will let the guests take photos as a souvenir.

The view from the breakfast area is just as beautiful as the photographer's platform.

Actually, this is the view that we mostly see. The morning we went, the sky was very cloudy.

Fortunately, a ray of light shone down from the sky for just 10 seconds, so I couldn't stop pressing the shutter.

When we see images with light like this, we like to call it UFO light ourselves.

It seems like, right? Once the UFO light is gone, the sky starts to brighten into normal mode.

When the sun rises, the fog disappears, but the view is still beautiful. The weather is also good.

As for the accommodation, there are many types. We also went to take some photos of the rooms, which are mainly in the hundreds of baht range.

That's the Phubunker room for 700 baht, it can accommodate 2 people.

The largest house, called Phusing House, has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and costs 3,000 baht per night for up to 8 people.

This room must have a beautiful view because there is nothing blocking the front at all. Look at the people who are staying here, they are standing and enjoying the view.

This house (the colorful front) is the "Baan Chom Dao" which can accommodate 4 people for 1,500 baht.

The back section (white house) of Baan Phu Chom Fah can accommodate 2-3 people for 1,500 baht. It has a water heater and a television.

These two types of rooms will have a rooftop for viewing and are new houses.

You see, traveling doesn't have to cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Sometimes you can pay just a hundred baht to stay in a resort with a view like this.
