Oh man, let me tell you, it was awesome! We were running so hard, we were sweating buckets and our skin was glistening. :)

Good morning, early Saturday morning, October 31, 2015.

I had to wake up early today to participate in a special event that only happens a few times a year. Many of you may have heard of The Color Run, or you may have seen pictures of people covered in paint. I'm one of those people who has seen the pictures, but I've never actually participated. Until today, that is...

This time I joined the run with them. It was fun to run and take pictures. It was both fun and tiring. For those who are looking for a good activity to do on a free day and want something different, I would recommend The Color Run Bangkok. You can find more details at

http://www.thecolorrun.co.th/Bangkok

The sooner you register, the cheaper it is. I paid 800 baht for this round, which is held at Chatuchak Park.

Easy, not difficult at all. Try checking out the link.

Let's see how much fun it is. As for the application, I applied through their website. After applying, I received an email confirming my application, and they scheduled a time for me to pick up a backpack containing various items.

As shown in the picture, I took this out and took a picture because I thought if this activity was fun, I would share it with you guys.

The backpack will contain a shirt, various headbands, bib numbers, stickers, and a waterproof plastic bag for your phone. All of these items are included in the registration fee.

After waking up, I prepared myself for about 30 minutes before taking a taxi straight to Chatuchak Park... I'm ready!

We have arrived at the Train Park. There is a clear sign at the entrance. I feel like we arrived too early. We left our accommodation at 6:30 and arrived at 7:00. People are just starting to arrive. The race starts at 8:00, but that's okay, we can walk around and look around.

Entering the event area, it was a magnificent sight. There was a huge outdoor stage set up in a wide grassy field. It felt like attending an open-air concert.

There will also be muscular superheroes walking around to add color to the event.

The Sailor Moon girls are also beautiful and bright, wearing brightly colored clothes, beautiful.

As we arrived early, we had a long time to walk around. There were booths from all the sponsors, including spas, fitness centers, and beverage companies. There were a lot of free things to try, haha.

I think they did a good job organizing the event.

The crowd is getting bigger and bigger. Let me take you to see the starting point.

At the starting point, there is still no one.

A wide range of professions came to run, including these two brothers. I admire them and give them a thumbs up.

This is the symbol of the event. We also have a unicorn running with us.

This one of ours is cute. This one was bought from the backpack pick-up point. This time, I have to pick it up at Condo 1674 Circle Condominuim.

Okay, the time is approaching. The guys from We Fitness will lead the warm-up before the release.

In no time at all, the crowd grew significantly.

The MC then announced for the runners to walk behind the stage to the starting point.

There are a lot of people. Releasing them all at once is not possible. They have to be divided into groups of about 200 people each. Otherwise, they would be so crowded that they wouldn't be able to run.

As we ran, we reached a checkpoint where people threw colored powder at us. The powder mixed with our sweat and stuck to our skin. Each checkpoint used a different color, so by the end of the race, we were covered in all the colors of the rainbow.

The first checkpoint is purple. I wasn't able to take pictures of all the checkpoints because I was running and taking pictures at the same time.

The first level is already beautiful.

Along the route, there will be free water booths throughout the way.

It's starting to get dirty.

I ran so hard I didn't even take any pictures until I crossed the finish line. I'm pretty tired, 5 kilometers is no joke.

Everyone is exhausted, stained with colors and sweat.

And then the little unicorn was bathed in color.

As for us, we had to leave work, but they haven't finished yet. I was in the first group that was released to run after the national anthem was respected. When I finished running, they still hadn't released the doctor.

After everyone crosses the finish line, there will be a color party in front of the stage with cool DJs and color splashing. But we won't be there. Throughout the event, there will be MCs in both Thai and English to provide commentary. It's very international.

The Color Run is actually held in over 200 major cities around the world. For those who are interested, you can follow the link that I have provided above. As for me, I really enjoyed it. It's a pity that I didn't stay until the party. It looked like it would be a lot of fun.

I have to go back early this morning.

Hello.
