Okay, for this review, I'm going to speak in a more colloquial style, as I think it will give it a more authentic feel. So, here I was, with nowhere to go and nothing to do, so I decided to sit by the river in the late afternoon, grab a bite to eat, and then head to the market to buy some lotus flowers to make offerings to the monks tomorrow. Oh, I know, I sound like a virtuous Thai housewife, but that's exactly what I did. Almost two hundred baht for the lotus flowers, and I managed to make three offerings. Not bad, eh?

Well, there are many places along the river and canals where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. But today, I'm here at the Yodpiman River Walk. For those who don't know how to get here, the easiest way is to take a direct boat and get off at the Yodpiman River Walk pier, which is prominently located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the main river of Thailand.

Our ancestors, the Thai people, have had a way of life that is closely intertwined with this river. Until our generation, that is. But the difference is that we don't love the river like the people of the past. If we tried to love the river like our mother, would we dare to hurt it?

Okay, let's not be too hasty. Let's make some music first. Just the two of us, let's find something to eat at Yod Piman. Sit and watch the view and the life that passes by on this legendary river. I arrived around five o'clock, which was still bright. I sat there until it got dark, so I saw the sunlight that poured down to paint the surface of the water and the different parts of the city. It was beautiful in every shade of color that was cast down. Of course, I took a lot of pictures.

On the second floor of Yod Piman Thanee, there is a riverside terrace with a long stretch of restaurants offering a variety of menus and similar views. I didn't have a specific restaurant in mind, so I just walked up and chose one that I liked.

I walked around looking at the menus, secretly checking the prices, and looking at the promotions. Then I pretended to walk away, looking at the menus all along the balcony. For me, the type of food and the price, which are enhanced by the promotions that will win your heart, are not very important this time. Because here it is quite similar to all the other stores.

Okay, so what's the criteria for choosing this time... This time it's the friendliness of the staff.... Not based on their looks, mind you.... I choose based on their cheerful smiles, which will add to the beautiful atmosphere, making it perfect, or perhaps "parfait"? I'm not very good with words, but I'm just saying.... Let's just say I chose it because of the staff.

So I chose this restaurant, DUO CUCINA, next to Mango Tree. I saw that the staff spoke in a friendly and inviting way. It made me feel warm. She had a beautiful smile and said, "Sit down, brother. Sit down. Two beers, one free." If it was normal speech, nothing would have happened. But she spoke with such naturalness and a smiling face and eyes. So I sat down here and, of course, had a beer. Then I ordered food all at once.

I think the view is beautiful, the light is also beautiful. I chose to sit outside on the balcony. Wow, the atmosphere is very good. Looking this way, I see buildings, houses, hotels, and the Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge dividing the sky and water.

The sun began to set, and the neon lights began to appear. The atmosphere was perfect for a beer in the evening.

As the evening draws near, the sun begins to set. The people who were bustling about in the morning are now bustling about in the evening. I think that the picture of our lives is one of constant movement, without rest or relaxation.

After a while, the waiter brought out the bread and tomato salsa. I was pleasantly surprised, as I didn't expect them to serve bread, let alone with salsa. Judging by the name of the restaurant, I thought it would be more Italian-style.

The table flowers are intentionally arranged, not just flowers stuck in a vase. I think this is another small detail that shows attention to detail on a larger scale.

The first dish arrived, a spicy and tangy Thai-style salmon salad. The mild sourness and prominent spiciness made it a dish I really enjoyed.

Wrapped in a large vegetable leaf, this dish is delicious. I must say, this is the star of my show tonight.

This dish is a healthy option, featuring a salad of greens, mushrooms, and blanched asparagus. It is served with a balsamic glaze and walnut oil on the side, allowing you to customize the dressing to your liking.

This is a light meal. During this time, I have to be very mindful of what I eat. Because I've gained a lot of weight.....

One plate of the spicy stir-fried spaghetti with seafood, please. It has a lot of ingredients and is very flavorful, but the noodles are not quite there yet. If the noodles were softer but still had some bite, and if they were stir-fried so that they were more flavorful, this dish would be the star of the night.

The lighting is beautiful, looking towards Wat Arun. I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant. Outside, there are two zones, one with tables and the other with sofas.

Come on, if anyone doesn't know where to go tonight, I recommend this place, Yot Piman Thani. There are many shops to choose from with a beautiful atmosphere.

I didn't actually intend to write this review, but I brought my camera along because I thought I might as well take some pictures. Now, I'm really impressed by the beautiful view from the balcony. It's also not crowded, and there are beautiful shops all along the balcony. So I thought I'd share it with you. If you're looking for a place to eat but are tired of the usual shopping malls and city areas, then this might be a good option for you.

Let's walk into the shop. Inside, there's a bar, tables, and chairs arranged beautifully. It's not cramped or uncomfortable. Personally, I like the inside too, but let's save it for when it's raining.

The decorated picture is very interesting because if you are standing on the balcony of the shop and looking across, you will see this picture. The ratio is correct.

After eating, we took a walk to take pictures and enjoy the view. Then we went to the market. No matter which way we walked, we could find a market. Except if we walked down to the river, we wouldn't find one there. ... Let's start at the beginning of the market.

As I emerged from the building, I found myself in the market area. There were some vegetables at the beginning, when I walked out of Yot Piman. Beautiful as usual, green, yellow, red, beautiful fresh colors, charming. Traveling like a pro, cool like a Thai.

I don't know what song to sing... Nang Dao Ruang or Nang Waew Dao. The girl is gone, the news is back to the field... Mother Bee's song seems to be the most meaningful. Humming a song while walking...

.....Oh, garland, where will you float? Who will you be around? Who will you truly love and like? Let's just say one person. As for the garland, it must be the song of Father Waipetch Phetchabun. It must be to your liking.

The garlands are complete, including jasmine, roses, and marigolds. They are suitable for worshipping Buddha, weddings, or hanging on the front of a car. The whole market is filled with the fragrant scent of flower petals.

For flowers, you can say that they come in one market, complete with everything, including vases and complete flower arranging equipment.

There are porters available to help you carry your purchases, especially if you are buying a lot of things at once.

The lotus flower I want, I'll buy it from this shop, but I haven't bought it yet. I'll stop by to buy it on my way back. I'm just looking around now.

Tuk-tuks only look good in Bangkok. I've seen them in other places and they just don't fit in. But in Bangkok, they look good parked anywhere, except in the middle of the road...

I think the dessert shop is good, beautiful and plentiful. The table setting is full, this is the standard table setting for dinner. The sidewalk on the way up to the Phuttha Bridge looks colorful and more complete than a five-star hotel. This is not fine dining, but it is fine life because we don't often get to have fine dining, but fine life, anything, anywhere can be fine.

Walking along the side of the road because I was looking for the stairs to the bridge. The pink "death bus" seems to contradict its nickname, doesn't it? Well, not every bus is like that, right?...

You can get a beautiful view just by buying a single skewer of meatballs here, no need to climb up tall buildings.

Freshly grilled mushrooms are located right at the foot of the bridge. The seller is a man in a tank top grilling mushrooms. The grilled mushrooms are perfectly cooked and served with a spicy dipping sauce.

After enjoying the view from the bridge, I walked down to buy lotus flowers and trays to arrange them into lotus flower trays. I paid respects to Luang Pho Phra Saeng and Luang Pho Phra Sai at Wat Pathum, one tray each. The smallest tray was used to worship the Buddha in the rented room where I slept. This is how I travel in a "cool" Thai way.
