Where to take your girlfriend on a date? This is the question that pops into your head when you enter February, the month of love. So, I want to take my girlfriend on a chill, relaxing date, focusing on relaxation, eating delicious food, listening to great music, sleeping in a good hotel, having a sea view, and changing shopping places. These are all the things I want, and I have several options in mind, but in the end, I decided to go to Hua Hin. Where to take your girlfriend on a date in Hua Hin?

DAY 1

We embarked on our journey early in the morning, opting for the bus services of theสมบัติทัวร์ company. In the past, we might have taken a van from the Victory Monument, where there are many operators to choose from. However, recently, we have seen frequent news reports of accidents involving vans.

This time, I opted for a bus service instead. I boarded the bus at Somphot Tour, Vibhavadi Center, located on Vibhavadi Road outbound, next to the Ministry of Energy, opposite Central Ladprao.

We booked round-trip tickets in advance through Call Center 1215 for 155 baht per person (25 baht cheaper than a van). We chose to pay through Counter Service at 7-Eleven within 24 hours after making the reservation, which was very convenient. We chose the 8:20 AM departure and the 3:00 PM return.

Passengers can claim their benefits at the counter (1 benefit per month). The offer expires on June 30, 2017. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.

Inside the ticket hall, there are various types of seating for waiting passengers. However, the most eye-catching is the simulated bus seat zone.

As the departure time approaches, an announcement will be made to board the train at exit gate number 3.

The buses operating on the Bangkok - Hua Hin route are either single-deck air-conditioned buses (M1kh) or Star Class buses.

The seats are arranged in a 2-2 configuration, with a total of 36 seats. They recline to 125 degrees and have leg rests and neck pillows. The legroom is spacious, allowing for comfortable leg extension. A highlight is the massage function, which we used throughout the journey, although Tawan did not seem to enjoy it.

This bus will only stop once at the Wang Manao checkpoint (but you can ask the driver to drop you off along the way). Therefore, it is recommended to purchase food and snacks before boarding the bus. However, there is no need to buy bottled water, as each passenger will receive one free bottle on the bus.

No need to worry about bathroom breaks, as this vehicle is equipped with a rear bathroom featuring a double-layered odor-proof door. Inside, you'll find a toilet, sink, and tissue paper, along with adequate lighting and an exhaust fan.

We tested the car's speed using a mobile app for 30 minutes, covering a distance of 38.5 km. The average speed was 76 km/h, with a maximum speed of 97 km/h. The driver maintained a safe distance from other vehicles, ensuring a smooth and worry-free journey.

The journey took approximately 3 hours to reach Hua Hin safely. The travel time was comparable to a van, but it was more affordable and secure. This is an appealing alternative. The return bus stop is located near Bluport, a newly opened shopping mall in the heart of Hua Hin. We decided to disembark here.

As a newly opened shopping mall, the shops, restaurants, and surrounding environment are decorated in a modern port style.

This makes the shops and restaurants here very attractive and inviting to spend money in.

Shopaholics, especially those with a keen eye for fashion, will be particularly excited to step into this realm of clothing, shoes, and lingerie.

Visitors can spend days exploring the mall without getting bored, even if the brands are the same as those found in Bangkok's shopping centers.

The perfect waiting seat for us is like a treasure found in her kingdom, and it acts as a commentator to boost her confidence before making a purchase. It also helps her find the right size and comforts her when she can't find the size she wants.

When she complains of hunger, it's best to take her out for a meal to replenish her energy so she can continue shopping. After all, her happiness is our priority. And our happiness lies in watching her shop with joy.

From Blueport, cross the street to the opposite side of the mall and take a green shared taxi. Get off before reaching the Jatujak Market. The fare is 10 baht per person. Then cross the street and walk into the alley for another 100 meters to reach the hotel.

The Nond ดี Hotel offers four room types: Standard, Deluxe, Family, and Garden Suite (the latter allows dogs under 10 kg). Our room was a Standard room on the 5th floor, the top floor of the hotel. From the top, you can see the sea. If you get a room at the end, it would be amazing.

Large glass windows allow ample natural light to flood the room, creating an airy and spacious atmosphere. The expansive view extends to the lush garden outside, including the bustling Cicada Market in the foreground.

The Standard Room offers both single and double bed options, adhering to the concept of "This bed isn't just for sleeping only."

The bed and pillows were exceptionally clean and soft. The bedside was adorned with warm orange lamps, creating a cozy ambiance.

Fully equipped with amenities, including a TV, refrigerator, hot water boiler, air conditioning, and water heater.

A bathroom and shower with see-through glass. Wow!

Lulled by the plush bed and pillows, we drifted off to sleep, only to awaken at nearly 6 pm. We showered, changed, and ventured out for a stroll and a bite to eat at Cicada Market.

The lobby area features comfortable sofas for guests to relax, socialize, or simply unwind.

Cicada Market is less than a 3-minute walk from Nond Dee Hotel.

Visitors can exchange coupons for food at the booth near the entrance of the food court. Unused coupons can be redeemed for a refund.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines. The average price per dish is between 80 and 200 baht.

While waiting for your order, it is recommended to look for a seat as the restaurant is crowded and seating is limited.

The taste and quantity of the food, compared to the price, are considered acceptable.

After a satisfying meal, it's time to go shopping. Hooray!

The highlight of the event was the live music performance in the garden amidst the towering trees. The Jammin' Live Music band, with its diverse lineup of musicians, captivated the audience with a wide range of musical genres, including Pop Jazz and Acoustic, encompassing both Thai and international tunes.

Featuring a diverse range of musical instruments and talented vocalists, including the winner of The Winner Is singing competition, Mr. O Olarig, and Ms. Pook, a charming and powerful vocalist (standing on the far right of the picture), Taklom expressed great admiration for her.

She searched for his Facebook profile until she found it, realizing he was a senior at her high school. She sent him a friend request, but he hasn't accepted it yet.

We sat here listening to music until the band finished around eleven o'clock, and then we walked back to sleep.

DAY 2

The next morning, I woke up rather late and went down for breakfast around 10 am in the lobby area.

To start the day, they had a light breakfast of congee and fried eggs before returning to their room to relax until noon.

In the afternoon, we planned to visit Seen Space, located near the Klai Kangwon Palace. On the way, we stopped for a bowl of pork and morning glory noodles in front of the palace, before reaching the intersection. You can take a green songthaew from the front of the hotel and get off in front of the shop.

The signature dish is the ancient Taling Pling-style pork tom yum with morning glory, as the name of the restaurant suggests.

Available in both dry and soup versions, with a choice of toppings such as liver, intestines, heart, or meatballs.

The flavor is rich and authentic, capturing the essence of tom yum.

Turn right at the intersection from the noodle shop and follow the road along the fence of the Klai Kangwon Palace for about 1 kilometer. You will reach Seen Space Hua Hin Beach Front Mall, the first beachfront mall in Thailand.

This location boasts a scenic beachfront seating area.

A variety of seating options are available, including canvas cushions, soft, round fabric cushions, and wooden stands.

We arrived here in the afternoon, so the sun was still hot.

After taking a few photos, the sun became too strong, so we went inside the building to avoid the heat.

The building houses a variety of intriguing shops and restaurants.

For vinyl record collectors who appreciate the sound of music.

Or trendy cafes like Virus Space and Cafe

A variety of beverages, including tea, coffee, and milk, are available to tantalize your taste buds.

And a special drink like the Chinese betta fish fermented water, oh no!!! Not that one.

Each one has its own name, which is super cool.

The library offers a cool and comfortable environment to read borrowed books, making it an intellectually stimulating date option.

Enjoy your favorite drink in a super chill atmosphere.

Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that the virus depicted on each glass is unique, as they were individually hand-drawn.

The interior design is simple and modern, with a loft-style aesthetic. The space also features an art gallery showcasing various works.

After sitting and playing for a while, the roots began to sprout. The sun outside began to weaken, so we went out to breathe the fresh air by the sea again.

The crowd is steadily growing.

Canvas chairs were added.

The light is beautiful today, so we took a walk around and took some photos.

The rooftop offers stunning panoramic views, but we did not have the opportunity to visit it.

As the sun sets and the wind dies down, a cool sea breeze begins to blow, bringing a sense of well-being to both mind and body.

We sat on the soft cushions, enjoying the view until we dozed off one by one.

Simple joys can be found in the warmth of companionship and shared moments.

The overall atmosphere is pleasant, with the exception of a lack of clear signage prohibiting smoking in public areas or designated smoking zones. (Although, such signage might be unnecessary if everyone possessed a strong sense of civic responsibility.)

As a result, some people smoked without any consideration for the children and adults around them. Some people who were asked to stop cooperated, but the worst were those who smoked electronic cigarettes, which emitted so much smoke that it looked like a grilled chicken shop. We therefore walked away and went shopping under the building.

A wide selection of clothing, bags, and stylish home decor items are available.

Leaving Seen Space, we continued our date at Hua Hin beach as the sun began to set.

For dinner, my uncle picked us up to eat at La Mer, a seafood restaurant located on Khao Takiab. The restaurant offers stunning views of the sea and the long stretch of Hua Hin beach, creating a truly delightful ambiance.

It is recommended to arrive before sunset to enjoy the beautiful view, but we arrived just as it got dark, so we were unable to capture the atmosphere in photos. After dinner, we visited the Cicada Market again for a second night, as we were impressed by the live music.

While I don't have access to yesterday's photos, I can assure you that the atmosphere and excitement were just as vibrant today. Although we didn't stay until the very end, we opted to unwind with chilled beers at La Birra Bistro Beer & Wine Bar, conveniently located near our accommodation.

La Birra Bistro Beer & Wine Bar is a restaurant and pub with live music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from snacks to full meals, with prices ranging from 100 to 300 baht, which is considered affordable.

We were already full from our meal, so we just ordered the fried cheese as a snack. The cheese was very fragrant and dense, and we highly recommend trying it.

Highlights include a wide selection of wines, beers, and craft beers from around the world, offering a diverse range of flavors to tantalize your taste buds.

We would like to arrange for a glass hookah garden, please.

Ladies who do not enjoy beer need not fret, as the establishment offers a diverse selection of cocktails and fruit juices.

Congratulations!

The majority of customers here are foreigners from various countries. Single people might even get to learn a new language for free (meaning they might find a partner to take home).

DAY 3

The final day began with a diverse breakfast menu.

The porridge with egg was available, but we arrived late so it wasn't very hot. When we pressed the reheat button, we forgot to stir it, so the porridge at the bottom got burnt.

Chicken rice, sausage, and fried egg

And bananas

After a hearty breakfast, we retreated to our room for a relaxing day, opting to skip any planned activities and prioritize rest.

The past two nights have shown that a good hotel is more than just a comfortable bed. The convenient location, proximity to tourist attractions, pleasant atmosphere, and comprehensive amenities made this date with my partner both comfortable and restful.

After checking out, we took a car to Blueport to have lunch, walk around, and shop while waiting for our return trip. We booked the last tour at 3:00 PM, and the bus stop was only 350 meters away from the Blueport mall. The return trip took about 4 hours because there was some traffic on the way back to Bangkok.

This 3-day, 2-night trip to Hua Hin with my partner was a relaxing and unhurried escape. While we didn't visit many tourist attractions, we prioritized leisurely shopping and spending quality time together. We savored the atmosphere and lingered in places we enjoyed, creating lasting memories. This trip reminded us that happiness can be found anywhere when we dedicate time to each other.
