"It's not just the headline that's interesting… Sattahip, no matter how you travel, you can't see it all. I feel like it's a very charming city."

I had the opportunity to escape work (or escape the heat, I'm not sure) to live in Sattahip from May 12-15, 2016.

With the trend of "going to the sea, not to escape the heat, but to escape love"...escaping the heat is fine too... I read through various travel blogs and posts on social media and felt that I had to go... Now!

I cleared my schedule and found out that I could escape during this time. I only found out on the 7th or 8th. Normally, I like things to be certain, except when I travel alone, I like to wing it, even though I should really do my research beforehand. I find my own logic strange, but I think it's the charm of traveling. I'm starting to like not having to plan anything... I don't like traveling alone, but if I think it's okay and I can do it, then I can do it.

Okay, the sea travel trend is booming. Sattahip is ranked high, including Koh Kham and Koh Saemsan. I was heartbroken by Koh Saemsan once. This time, I hope it will be good, I hope it will be impressive....

Early in the morning after finishing work, around seven in the morning, I quickly called to book accommodation ... Oops, I just realized that I called too early, but the owner answered the phone and accepted the room reservation. Haha, I forgot to think that she was going on a weekday, why would she be in a hurry? ... I don't know, the accommodation I'm going to is in the hipster trend, I'm afraid of missing out. When I go, I have to hunt for RC 555

At the start of the travel day, I still had to clear work until I couldn't sleep. 555 I was going to go in the evening, the owner informed me that there would be a boat trip to a small island by ourselves in the evening ... Hehe, I didn't miss it. I rushed out of Bangkok as soon as possible.

This trip, I used public transportation... Van, I got on at the Victory Monument. It took about two and a half hours to reach the destination. I took a motorbike taxi to the accommodation. There was a bit of an obstacle. The motorbike taxi driver didn't know the hostel, and I didn't know where it was. I guessed from the picture I saw that it was near the sea, so I asked the motorbike taxi driver to go around the beach, but I still couldn't find it. I ended up near Wat Luang Pu I .... The sun was very cooperative, it was so hot. Why didn't I call to ask for directions from the beginning ... In the end, I called to ask for directions. It was nearby, opposite Soi 11. Haha, I'm hereeeeeeeeee

It's very unique, the lobby on the 2nd floor is amazing. I've never seen a hostel like this before. (I secretly asked, they have a reason for it)

(According to the owner's Facebook page, they said they would be excited when they saw guests walk up the 6 steps before meeting them. But we met on the other side of the street 555. People who get lost have to accept it.)

The highlight of this place is the rooftop. We loved it so much that we went up there right after checking in. Our accommodation for this trip was satta_hiptale ....

Satta in Pali means 7

The chest is an island.

(The first information I received while standing on the rooftop enjoying the cool breeze from the host, I felt the essence of Sattahip ... I was so into it)

A trendy hostel in the heart of Sattahip's old market. Choose from dorm/backpack or private rooms, all decorated in a hip, nautical style. The top floor offers stunning views of the sea and nearby islands. The strong, cool breeze is simply amazing. You'll love it! At night, there's a bar where you can relax and listen to music. It doesn't get any more chill than this.

On the third night, a brave younger sister came to sleep in the dorm with me. I don't know if we knew each other yet, but from the moment we met until the moment we parted, it felt like we had known each other for ten years.

Thank you to the host for welcoming and taking care of us. This trip was not lonely at all. Thank you for making this little traveler have such a great memory.

(Real praise, not based on fiction... They hired me/with Bua Loi in ginger water)

Rooftop bar with the owner as the bartender. The cocktails are amazing!

Awesome view

Honestly, I came here because of these two sunbeds.

This midnight, the bar has transformed... into this.

Friendship in the backpacker/dorm room... It's like we've known each other for a long time. My younger brother is very fun to talk to. I'm not sure if we know each other yet... Well, it's nice not to know you.

Pause_Press play again to wait for this place.

☺😊😀😁😂😃😄😅 The first evening I arrived... I tagged along with my host's friends who were going out, hehe. Thanks!

Koh Muu is a small island located next to the Chik Talay Pier (or so I remember, apologies if I'm wrong). It's a pier for the Chakri Naruebet warship, but it's on the Sattahip market side. It's not far by boat. I heard that the navy recently renovated the island and added a wave barrier for beautiful photos. The beach has fine sand, and there are no buildings on the island. However, there is a family of fishermen and soldiers who take care of the island. I heard that you can also go camping and fishing there. You can walk around the island, and you might see some fishermen taking shelter from the waves. Sometimes they leave their crab traps behind.

We had some fun playing around, finding fresh oysters, like prying them off the rocks, rinsing them with seawater, and then eating them raw. Wow, it was such a great feeling!

While riding the boat, I also saw people playing paragliding.

(Seeing the Royal Warship from another angle...)

The morning of May 13th, it rained in the morning, which was the first rain in four months here ... On the day I'm going to the island, how about it? Will you be able to go? .... Of course, we've already made an appointment, haven't we? ...

The ticket booth for Koh Saemsar opens at 8 am, but they will distribute queue tickets before selling tickets. I'm not sure what time they start distributing the tickets, but I arrived at 7 am and got number 126. It didn't seem like there were too many people. Koh Saemsar is open to visitors every day. After getting the queue ticket, I waited to buy a ticket. They allow 100 people to board the boat to the island per round. I got number 126, so I was bumped from the 9 am round to the 10 am round. I was very disappointed because it meant a longer wait. However, there were places to walk around and wait. There is a marine museum, but I didn't go up the hill to see it. I went to sit at a coffee shop near the pier and waited. Time passed quickly, and soon it was time to board the boat. The boat ride didn't take long, and there was a clear pier to disembark. Once we arrived on the island, we were given a briefing on the island's rules and activities. It was short and informative.

We walked around and took photos. Then we queued up to get on the glass-bottom boat to see the fish and coral. But the soldier told us that the water was low and the water would be cloudy, so we wouldn't be able to see very clearly. It was a pity, but we still saw many kinds of coral. We also saw clownfish. (I won't show you the photos because I'm seasick, lol)

(If you get seasick, whether regularly or occasionally / like us / … look far away / at the sky, mountains, don't stare at the waves / it will make you more seasick ….. A secret tip / that we follow)

Samaesarn Island ..... has two beaches, so we took a round trip to Luk Lom Beach and Thian Beach. The boat drops you off at Thian Beach, but the more beautiful beach is Luk Lom Beach, in my opinion.

The island is open every day, but the best part is that it's not worn out. It still retains its natural beauty, making it a truly stunning place to visit.

The beach where the boat departs is called Hat Thian.

Luuk Lom Beach is beautiful. This beach has rocky outcrops for taking photos. If you look closely, you can see Kham Island. But when I went, there were a lot of Chinese and South Korean tourists.

Kham Island ....

Another day, I woke up early. I had a car booked for 6:30 am and wanted to check out right away. It was a shame that I didn't get to fully enjoy the view from the hostel's rooftop. I quickly got dressed and ran up to breathe in the fresh air on the rooftop... It was amazing.

The weather is nice today, not too hot, but the sky is not overcast.

The ticket booth for Koh Kham is located outside the entrance to the Koh Samet ticket booth. There were quite a lot of people, but I managed to get a ticket. I hurried to queue up and board the boat. The boat leaves early in the morning, around 7-8 am. The boat ride is longer than to Koh Samet, passing by Hat Thian and Hat Luk Lom. When I looked at the beaches from the sea, I felt like I was watching the people who lived on the island, living their lives. Hehe...

We were very fortunate to visit Koh Kham before it closed to allow nature to recover, in preparation for welcoming a new group of tourists at the end of the year.

The island is small, you can walk around it in a short time. But the cool thing about this island is that the beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling are all around the island, so you don't have to take a boat far away. There are many spots, each one is beautiful. Most importantly, all activities on the island, whether it's diving, kayaking, or taking a glass-bottom boat, are free and included in the island crossing ticket. .... There is also a viewpoint. You have to walk up the hill for about 300 meters. If you can't imagine it, think of one big, tiring climb with sweat all over your face and back, flowing like a stream. 555 That's it, 300 meters. ....

Adventure, it's good that I did some research and found out that flip-flops are definitely not suitable for this climb. The rocks are sharp. The way down is by rope (it seems a bit exaggerated).

I forgot the climax of this place, the wooden bridge... There is a hut that the drama team built as a scene. I heard that it was about the pink trumpet vine. When I went there, it was almost decomposed. But I could still bring a bed sheet to lie down and chill.

☺😊😀😁😂😃😄

After returning from the island in the afternoon, I took a walk along Tian Beach and Dongtan Beach. I saw children practicing sailing. It was so good! But I didn't have time to run and take photos up close. They had all finished and were resting. It was a shame.

My friend, who is a military officer there, took me on a tour of a warship and to a scenic viewpoint at the Shrine of His Majesty the King's Father. I loved it! The view was amazing, with the Bay of Sattahip and countless small islands. I even zoomed in on the island where the Navy SEALs are stationed, but I couldn't see anything. Hehe.

In the evening, I originally planned to check out and return to Bangkok. It turned out that I got stuck and stayed for another night. 5555 I laughed at myself. That evening, I walked around the night market behind the hostel. I liked the sweet egg bualoy dessert at the shop. But we ate a variety of things, like sahrim. It was cool and refreshing in the evening. I ate it every evening I was there, 3 days in a row. 555 There was a lot of food on that street. I didn't know what to choose to eat.

On the night of the 3rd, I went up to the hostel bar to chill. I soaked it all in and had the chance to talk to new people, which opened up my world and made me forget who I was for a while. ... I like traveling alone in another way: it gives me a lot of flexibility. I can go anywhere and do anything I want. And I get to know myself in a different way, in ways I didn't know I could. ... I have time to be with myself, with my own thoughts. It's nice to be lost in my own thoughts.

But for us... if this trip didn't have any books or cameras, we don't know how we would feel... We would probably talk to more people or just change where we sleep.... So what about you? What is your travel like???

Just set off... Don't think too much, the journey will give us the answer itself.

Thank you.
